I'd like to introduce you to a new concept in the rave scene called the Sons of Jacob. SOJ are a clique of artists who aim to bring a positive, lively, happy vibe to the ravers, ultimately making their rave experience a more memorable one! There are several members of the clique, some new and some well established on the scene. SOJ members possess many versatile skills and can work with a variety of genres of music. Ranger Y'srael T - one of the midlands finest MC’s came from a sound system background starting early at the age of 11. Since the early 90’s he's been hitting the dance scene using his ragga style lyrics mixed with an element of roll tongue and rap to compliment the DJ's and elevate the crowd. He has performed at some of the biggest raves in England and Wales including Southern Style Exposure, Fantazia, Quest, Pandemonium, Euphoria and Dreamscape to name just a few and has worked alongside headliners such as Nicky Blackmarket, Brockie and Jason Kaye. After taking a break to do some soul searching and deep reflecting Ranger has returned and teamed up with New Company formally Blackmagik and also formed a clique of his own 'SOJ' Sons of Jacob which is taking the DNB scene by storm. Mc Stixman - started Mcing in the early 80's on reggae sound systems such as Jacob and Jah Convenant Sound and bands Solid Foundation and 4Real and since the early 90's has worked in the rave scene with many headline DJ's. His background includes live performances on the BBC with Pato Banton, the hosting of MTV dance with Mc Magika in 95 and broadcasting on Radio XL 'Roll the Beats show' weekly with Mc Magika & DJ Advance. Stix has a unique rolling style combined with a conscious lyrical flow which takes his listeners to another level. He's appeared at events such as Fantazia, ESP, Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Rave City (Germany) and many more. Mc Brasko - First picked up the Mic when he was 5 years old and since then has developed a fast, clear, lively style. His mic skills compliment various different styles of music and Brasko is able to MC to Dubstep, Ragga, Garage, Funky House, DNB/Jungle and is also a well established grime MC. DJ Energy - made his debut in 91 at Equinox Stafford Uni, he had previously played on pirate stations such as Fantasy FM and Dance 100. He's played alongside DJ's such as Rap, SS and Orpee and has rocked the dancefloor in events such as Fantazia, Pandemonium, Kaos, Mind Blown and held residency at Dance Planet. He showcased his skills when filling in for Sasha at Fantazia Donnington Park in 92 in front of 27,000 ravers and continues to rock the crowd alongside Stixman and Ranger T with a variety of genres including Oldskool Hardcore/Jungle Techno 90-94, Oldskool Hip Hop 86-90, Oldskool Jungle 93-99, Upfront Jungle & DNB and Happy Hardcore - 94-97. http://soundcloud.com/the-set-supplyer/dj-energy-and-mc-stixman-mc-....

DJ Amo - also known as DJ Jamit on the house scene has had a passion for music since the age of 12 and has since progressed this passion into his dream of being a DJ. Amo has played on local pirate and community radio stations such as Silk FM and on the Birmingham club scene for the past 7 years in venues such as the Q club, Custard Factory and was resident at Gatecrasher in Birmingham/Nottingham/Leeds for 2 years. Amo has graced the decks at many more events and has played internationally at Mango's in the Costa Del Sol. DJ Break aka Da Sticky Finga - Break's been on the decks for over 20 years and is a self taught scratch DJ. His style is versatile initially playing hip hop then moving onto house playing at clubs such as the Hacienda and Hippos. Break became a resident at Life (Bowlers Mancherster) in 96 playing piano anthems & classics and ultimately DNB. He's now resident at Fantazia and plays for events such as Euphoria and more. DJ/Promoter Merrimaker - In 98/99 Merrimaker bought some turntables and hasn't looked back since. He's played on several internet radio stations and at events such as Muzik Hertz, Bassdrive and Liquid Sessions. Over the past 2 years Merrimaker has been promoting Liquid Sessions with DJ PMX, and recently played at Club Air Birmingham supporting LTJ Bukem and Blu Mar Ten.
