Nobody's quite sure what to call all the subgenres of murky, bass-heavy, mysterious dance music that has splintered off from dubstep. The London superclub and record label Fabric is launching a new mix CD series dedicated to this particular web of subgenres, and they're describing it as "140bpm (or thereabouts) bass music," as FACT magazine reports.
